Turn visibility into qualified enquiries

Use this audit when people find your business and too few become qualified enquiries.

Pick one offer, one source and one landing page. Follow the promise that earns the click through to what the visitor sees and the next step they take. Comparing those steps for the same audience tells you where to look first.

What to check

  • Look at the searches, ads or referrals that send people to this page. Group them by what the visitor is trying to buy.
  • Open the page on a phone. Check whether the opening names the offer, who it suits and the outcome the visitor came for.
  • Put one relevant example, result or customer quote beside the claim it supports. Check whether the next step tells the visitor what happens after they enquire.
  • Count qualified enquiries per 100 visits for the same source and page. If visits come from people outside your market, tighten the source. If the right people arrive and hesitate, start with the page.

Worked example

Say a consultancy's paid campaign brings 200 visits and two qualified enquiries. The ad promises a migration assessment, but the homepage leads with managed support. Send the same ad to a page about the assessment, show a relevant migration example and compare qualified enquiries per 100 visits over a comparable period.
